What Stella is actually made of?<\/h4>\n

Most “faux silk velvet” you’ll find in mass-market bedding is 100% polyester. It’s cheap and it’s durable, but the hand-feel is unmistakably synthetic \u2014 slick, slightly plasticky, no warmth.<\/p>\n

Stella is built differently. The\u00a0face<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 the side you see and sleep against \u2014 is a blend of\u00a0rayon and nylon<\/strong>. The\u00a0back<\/strong>\u00a0is\u00a0100% cotton<\/strong>. Each fiber is doing a specific job, and the combination is what gives the fabric a hand closer to real silk velvet than a single-fiber synthetic ever produces.<\/p>\n
