Founded in 2018, Bonnie West created Addie Birch Home Furnishings after 21 years in custom window coverings and interior design. The Addie Birch story began with a vision to bring curated furniture, customizable furnishings, and thoughtful interior styling to Winnipeg. Today, the showroom blends warm organic style with comfortable, everyday living.

The name “Addie” honours Bonnie’s Dutch grandmother, who immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands. “Birch” reflects Canadian craftsmanship and the natural materials used throughout the collection.

Bonnie partnered with longtime friend and colleague Dianne Domaratzki to shape the brand’s creative direction. Together, they created a welcoming design studio focused on thoughtful, livable spaces.

Today, Addie Birch offers curated furniture, custom upholstery, lighting, textiles, and interior styling services. From shelf styling and finishing touches to furniture layouts and room planning, the team helps clients create cohesive spaces that feel personal and functional.

Clients also receive guidance on customization, including fabric selections, furniture scale, and design details. The showroom features Canadian-made furniture alongside handcrafted pieces sourced globally.
